Ellura helps promote and maintain urinary tract health, providing a concentrated extract of Cranberry.
Most women will experience cystitis at least once in their lifetime. Cystitis is an inflammation of the bladder, caused mostly by E.coli bacteria. Women are more susceptible to recurring cystitis due to the shorter length of the urethra.
Symptoms of cystitis or bladder infections include:
- Frequent need to urinate, even when bladder is not full
- Pain or burning sensation on urination
- Urine that appears cloudy or discoloured
- Lower abdominal pain
- Urinary incontinence

Ellura contains proanthocyanidins (PACs), which support urinary tract health by helping to prevent bad bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract wall and helping your body to flush it out naturally. Each daily capsule of Ellura contains 36 mg of PACs, which clinical research has shown to help reduce the frequency of recurring cystitis in women.
Recommended Dosage, Directions and Tolerability
Adults and children 12 years and over: 1 capsule daily, or as directed by your healthcare professional to help reduce the recurrence of cystitis and provide ongoing urinary tract health support.
Children under 12 years: Discuss dosage with your healthcare professional
Ellura may be used during an episode of recurrent cystitis and should be taken as soon as possible to help flush bacteria from the urinary tract. If pain or irritation persist for more than 48 hours consult your healthcare professional. The presence of blood in the urine warrants immediate medical attention.
Ellura capsules are easy to take.
Ellura is very well tolerated at the recommended dose, including in children and the elderly.
It is advised to talk to your healthcare professional before taking Ellura if you are on warfarin (blood thinning medication)
Ingredients
- Ellura contains a concentrated extract of Vaccinium macrocarpon, commonly known as American Cranberry. Each Ellura capsule is standardised to provide 36 mg of bioactive proanthocyanidins (PACs), as measured by DMAC method.
