Traditionally used by North American Indians to help maintain a healthy intestinal tract. The dried hulls of Black walnut have bitter, astringent, alterative properties.
- Mild laxative
Black Walnut is considered a mild laxative and traditional vermifuge. It’s tannin or astringent properties help constrict tissues and encourage natural elimination. This action contributes to its use in helping to expel parasites and worms from the colon. This herb is the best choice for a mild laxative, particularly for older people or when a slow, gentle approach is required.
Traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to:

Ingredients:
- Juglans nigra (Black walnut) fruit hull powder 500mg
- Dosage
For adults: take two capsules with a meal twice daily.
No added: Gluten, lactose, soy, starch, sugars or salt, wheat products, artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives
Not recommended while pregnant or breast feeding. Do not use when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present or if you develop diarrhoea.
