Product Overview

Nature's Sunshine Capsicum 475mg 100 Capsules

Capsicum works by helping to maintain peripheral circulation and provide relief to people suffering from cold hands and feet.

  • May Improve circulation
  • May help warm cold hands and feet

Capsicum or commonly known as Cayenne is considered one of the most useful peripheral circulation herbal stimulants, and traditionally has been used to help maintain healthy cardiovascular function. Capsicum may be particularly useful for warming cold hands and feet by assisting the flow of blood to the capillaries. Capsicum stimulates blood flow to the stomach which can assist healthy digestion and relieve symptoms of flatulent dyspepsia.

Capsicum was Nature's Sunshine's first product back in 1972 after Gene Hughes took it by the spoonful to help his stomach. It is also known as Cayenne and was used by the South Americans as a condiment. They used it to help relieve flatulence that resulted from their vegetable diet. Each capsule contains approximately 40,000 (SHU) Scoville Heat Units.

Traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to:

  • Help improve blood circulation to the peripheral areas of the body (legs, hands and feet)
  • Enhance sweating
  • Promote healthy digestive system function
Used traditionally to help maintain a healthy cardiovascular system.
